Tierra Verde

Tierra Verde is a resort-like community located on an island on the southernmost tip in Pinellas County surrounded by Tampa Bay. It is connected to both St Pete Beach and St Petersburg through the bridges of the Pinellas Bayway. Originally, Tierra Verde was comprised of 15 islands of various sizes, the largest one being Cabbage Key. American Indians used the islands for ceremonial and burial grounds. Today, it is a large, beautiful community of luxury condominiums, upscale single family homes, and massive estates. South of the residential communities is Fort DeSoto, rated numerous years by Trip Advisor and Dr. Beach as America’s Top Beach. In addition to white, sandy beaches, Fort DeSoto is a 1,136 acre park with hiking trails, campsites, fishing pier and a plethora of wildlife.
